In accordance with the provisions of the UGC (Promotion of Equity in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2012, and relevant directives issued by statutory bodies concerning the prevention of caste-based, gender-based, religion-based, and other forms of discrimination in educational institutions, Agnibina College of Pharmacy, under the management of the Agnibina Welfare Foundation, has constituted an Anti-Discrimination Cell to uphold the dignity, safety, and rights of all students.The purpose of this Cell is to ensure that no student at this institution is subjected to any form of unfair treatment or discriminatory practice on the grounds of caste, creed, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, language, disability, or socioeconomic background.
1. To ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students. 2. To look into complaints regarding discrimination and take prompt action. 3. To promote equality and diversity through awareness programs and seminars. 4. To comply with legal and ethical standards prescribed by UGC, AICTE, PCI, and other regulatory authorities
The Anti-Discrimination Cell consists of members from various academic and administrative departments, including representation from students, to ensure impartiality and effectiveness in addressing grievances.
