Introduction

At AGNIBINA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY (PCI - 9483), we are committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. This policy outlines our zero-tolerance stance against any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination within the institution.

Policy Coverage

This policy applies to all students, regardless of gender, caste, religion, race, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation. Harassment and discrimination of any kind—physical, verbal, psychological, or digital—is strictly prohibited on campus and during any college-related activity or event.

Types of Prohibited Conduct

• Sexual Harassment: Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
• Discrimination: Unfair treatment based on caste, gender, disability, religion, or socioeconomic background.
• Bullying and Intimidation: Verbal abuse, threats, or actions intended to demean or embarrass.
• Cyber Harassment: Offensive or inappropriate behavior conducted through electronic means such as social media or email.

Consequences of Violation

Violation of this policy is a serious offense. Any student found guilty after inquiry shall be subject to strict disciplinary actions, including but not limited to:

• Fine of ₹25,000.00
• Temporary or Permanent Suspension
• Termination from the Institution
• Cancellation of Registration with PCI

All incidents will be handled confidentially and fairly by the College Disciplinary Committee.

Reporting Mechanism

Students are encouraged to report incidents of harassment or discrimination immediately. Complaints can be made in writing to the Principal or directly to the Anti-Harassment Committee. Anonymous complaints will also be reviewed seriously.

Protection Against Retaliation

AGNIBINA COLLEGE guarantees protection from retaliation for individuals who report violations in good faith. Retaliation will be treated as a separate offense subject to similar penalties.
